RECENT PERFORMANCES
March 2024
Bhargavi performed Raga Basant Madhya-Laya Teen Tal and Drut Ek-Taal, for the student concert organized by the South Asian Classical Music Society. Bhargavi was accompanied by Randall Jamrok and the performance was attended by 30+ audience members.
March 2024
Bhargavi started performing with the Bollywood-Punk Band called Do The Needful in March. She brought with her a new addition to the repertoire of the band and also sang songs from the existing repertoire of the band. Since March Bhargavi has performed with the band twice and will be performing with them next in June 2024.

Bhargavi performed at the first edition of open-mic at the South Asia Institute attended by 50+ audience members. She performed a Madhya-Lay Teen Taal composition in Raga Basant.
January 2024
Bhargavi performed a Saraswati Vandana in Raga Hansadhwani at the University of Chicago along with Randall Jamrok.
November 2023
Bhargavi performed a repertoire of music from different parts of India - including music from the Hindi Heartland, Bengal, and Tamil Nadu along with Indian Classical Music for two occasions at the University of Chicago - Durga Puja at Kheyal and Diwali at SASPA. Each event was attended by 100+ students, alumni and faculty members.
October, 2023
For the Bengalis in Chicago event held in October 2023 Bhargavi performed a Hindustani Classical composition in Bangla and was accompanied by Randal Jamrok on the percussions and Sonny Patel on the flute. The event had 100+ attendees.
September 15, 2023
Bhargavi performed devotional music. A rendition of goddess Durga based on the raga Puriyadhanashri and another composition praising goddess Saraswati based on the raga Hansadhwani. She was accompanied by Randall Jamrok on the percussions. The event was attended by 30+ participants in person and was also posted on YouTube later.

Bhargavi performed Raga Bibhas, for the student concert organized by the South Asian Classical Music Society, a not-for-profit organization creating a shared space in the community through promoting classical Indian music and other traditional musical forms from the South Asian region.
